Every Thursday, SCI (Sustainable Campus Initiative) puts on “SCI Talks,” where different professors, students and outside speakers come in and help to facilitate a discussion on a variety  of topics!

This week, SCI is welcoming Dr. Erin Joakim, UW adjunct lecturer and post-doctoral fellow at the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion, University of Cambridge.

Discussion Topic: The types of recovery assistance that help achieve long-term, sustainable improvements in livelihoods after disaster.

Come and join the conversation!

SCI Talks are a great way to get involved in the sustainability community in KW, learn something new, and enjoy delicious FREE sustainable refreshments. Different speakers at each event!

Happening bi-weekly on Thursdays from 7:30-8:30pm in QNC 1506. Bring a friend!

There’s only a few left, so come on out! It’s going to be great!
